With four skytrain stations, four entrances to Trans Canada Highway, and a public bus network which includes communicate and rapid buses, Burnaby has very good contacts within the town and with all parts of the region. The Light Rail Transit task anticipate ten channels in the Burnaby area by 2005. For individuals who prefer bicycling as an initial transportation mode, there's a well developed Routine Road Network.
Burnaby School Area #41 operates forty-seven K-12 colleges, the Provincial College for the Deaf and a thorough continuing education program.
