Langley actually includes two entitites, the town of Langley and the Township of Langley.
Langley gets the most affordable commercial tax foundation of towns in the low Mainland, resulting in strong business development and the community is always looking for environmentally-friendly industries. The commute into Vancouver is using either the Fraser Highway (1A) or the Trans-Canada Highway (1), an the commute into Vancouver is normally 50 minutes. For individuals who fly, just east of the town is Langley Airport.
You will primarily find new low-rise condos in the city and out of the city you will see older bungalows, small ranchers and split-levels as you move further away. In the countryside, there are a good few expensive rural estates. Brookswood is a good sized community just south of Langley has both solitary family and mobile homes drawn to quaint shopping and a civic entertainment centre. Aldergrove, also a good sized community is on the South Eastern part of Langley which draws in residents by using its large retail center, ice industry, six parks, and quick access to america with a boundary crossing close-by. Walnut Grove north of the Trans-Canada Highway is near to the Fraser River and Derby Reach Regional Park. Fort Langley, site of the initial 1827 Hudson’s Bay trading fort in the region, is now a substantial visitor area, and resale homes are tricky to find.
Langley has 33 elementary and 10 colleges, Frenche immersion. A Francophone program emerges at Bradshaw Elementary (K-7). Post-secondary opportunities are in Fort Langley, Trinity Western University and Kwantlen University has a campus in the town of Langley. Simon Fraser University is a 50 minute drive on Trans-Canada highway.
There are a variety of stores around Langley. You are able to shop in quaint shopping districts in the town, Brookswood, Fort Langley, and Aldergrove.

The region has lots of Regional Parks, several golf courses. For kids, you have the 50 hectare Greater Vancouver Zoo, with over 70 pet species for the kids to explore.
